Mayoral Awards: Do you know someone worthy of recognition?

Die Steve Tshwete Veerpyltjieklub met die trofee as wenspan in afdeling vyf tydens die Suid-Afrikaanse kampioenskappe. Nominees who contributed to the development of the community by being innovative, inventive and show initiative will be considered.

Nominees can be entered into the following categories:

  • Category 1: Women Empowerment
  • Category 2: Education & Skills Development
  • Category 3: Community Development
  • Category 4: Business Development
  • Category 5: Sports
  • Category 6: Arts & Culture
  • Category 7: Youth Development

The municipality is committed to its vision of being the number one African city (municipality) in service delivery and good governance.

The Mayoral Awards initiative by the Executive Mayor is indicative of this mission of contributing to a legacy of excellence and achievements through achieving economic development and world-class infrastructure.

Nominations will be open from the 17 November 2017 and will close on the 1 December 2017. No late or incomplete forms will be considered.

Forms can be obtained from the municipal libraries and the civic centre.

All completed forms are to be hand-delivered in a sealed envelope to: Steve Tshwete Local Municipal Manager’s Office, 2nd Floor, Corner Wanderers and Walter Sisulu Street, Middelburg.
