Pictures circulating on WhatsApp, have warned motorists to steer clear of Machadodorp as protests erupted once again.

The town was plunged into chaos earlier this week when a video of two men attempting to forcefully arrest another man, surfaced.

Motorists are warned to avoid the N4 past Machadodorp.

A local businessman lost his shop after it was looted and set alight.

The two men, Bruce Botha and Wayne Swart, was arrested and charged with assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm. They were released on R500 earlier this morning.
